YESHE World CitiZen CD

World Citizen was recorded by Yeshe in 2003 with the legendary Canadian blues artist Harry Manx guiding production.
This timeless debut album has charted and won multiple international awards. The album also features world dance musician Ganga Giri. The Mbira, a traditional African percussion instrument mastered by Yeshe in Zimbabwe as a disciple of Garkayi Tirikoti, is the star of the album. Yeshe fuses complex percussive structures with layerings of melody and lyrics.
World Citizen features songs ranging from the gentle to the spirited, from traditional African to anywhere in the world.
